Mapped Drive Support 05-11-2008 23:05
I have a system that has network shares (samba) mapped to drive letters. For example, \desktopStorage1 is mapped to D:. However, for some reason, freesshd tells me the system cannot find the drive specified when i try to go to "D:" or any other of my 10 mapped network drives in a shell..

Also, mapped network shares will not show up when you try to set the SFTP Home Path either. This is an amazing program but due to the way I have my network setup, this issue prevents me from actually using it :(

Why isn't this supported? I thought the operating system itself handles this...?

I have confirmed that this is a bug with the program.

Temporary fix:

Right click on the systray icon, select unload.
Launch the program again. You will now be able to access network drives. To the author: please fix this? Thanks.
