Can't log in, connection time out 20-10-2008 16:45
Hi,

I have been using FreeFTPd for a while without problems. Today I added a user and now all of a sudden the program won't allow new connections. I've restarted the service, rebooted, and reinstalled the program. I've tried completely disabling the Windows firewall. Nothing seems to work. I'm using it for SFTP only. I've tried with different user accounts, using the simple ones included in the program or NT authentication. The log files don't even show anyone trying to connect. Again, firewall disabled, so it appears as though the program simply isn't responding to requests. I've also tried running it as a system service as well as under my user profile. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I've tried the included SSH client in Ubuntu, Filezilla & Fugu. I've tried just the IP address as the host, as well as "sftp://" in front of the IP.

Thanks!
